Kacie Landis Bourque is a Texas-based painter inspired by the light and movement of the natural world. Through expressive marks and a constantly evolving palette, her work explores light, color, and memory.

She works from her studio surrounded by the quiet rhythms of nature, drawing inspiration from shifting light, changing seasons, and the organic patterns found in the landscape. Her work begins with observation but is ultimately guided by memory, where clarity softens and emotion takes precedence. Rather than pursuing exact representation, she allows detail to fall away in favor of feeling. Painting becomes a way of saying: this is what it felt like to be here.
