I decided to take the month of June to do a little experimenting, and that has lead to some new work that I am absolutely in love with. It's similar, and at the same time, so different from how I've been creating over the last year. I'm still painting florals, but this time using a limited color palette and working with mixed-media. It's changed the process for me in such a fun way. 

As you may or may not know, we're expecting a baby girl this fall. I think this work has been majorly influenced by the sweetness of planning for her. These pieces are soft, delicate and oh so layered. I just adore them, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
