This piece was inspired by a recent trip to Florida, where it felt like beautiful waterways appeared around every corner. It reminded me of home in that way.
Painted in oil on wood panel, this piece is all about movement and pause at the same time - the feeling of rounding a corner and discovering something familiar yet new. It’s a painting I lingered with, and one that feels like a turning point as I step into this new season of work.
