This week I found a beautiful spot overlooking El Paso in the Franklin Mountains. It's been unusually rainy over the last week so the desert was speckled with beautiful greens mixed between the patches of warm sand & the sky was full of rolling clouds.
This week I went out to Ascarate Lake, set up a spot right beside the water and painted. It was a warm sunny day, but the kind that never gets too hot. The wind off the water supplied a constant coolness.
