Magnolias

Original Paintings from my sunny studio in Hammond, LA.

My little town is blessed with many, many magnolia trees, and I've been watching them bloom. I intentionally go out every day to see if any newly noticed buds have opened up. These trips have shown me the beauty of spring. A cool breeze, cloudless blue skies and endless sunlight.
Then I take these memories back to the studio and preserve them in paint.
